Pamiętacie jeszcze mój wywiad z Ciro Diazem, który przeprowadziłam w Hawanie parę lat temu? Ciro opowiadał o problemach, jakie zespół miał i ma nadal, o tym, że nie mogą nawet zagrać koncertu, że policja wciąż interweniuje i każda próba grania może się skończyć aresztowaniem? Wyglądało na to, że muzycy nigdy nie opuszczą wyspy i nigdy nie wyjdą z podziemia...
A jednak.
W lipcu ten najbardziej antyreżimowy zespół punkowy na Kubie przyjedzie zagrać w Polsce, na festiwalu w Jarocinie. Nie sądziłam, że ten moment nastąpi. Kiedy zobaczyłam tę informację na facebooku Cira, nie mogłam uwierzyć. Ale tak - to prawda. Mam gęsią skórkę. Cieszę się jak dzieciak. I cóż... Jadę w lipcu do Jarocina!!!!
You cannot remember my interview with Ciro Diaz because it was published only in Polish. I talked to the guitar player of Porno Para Ricardo a few years back in Havana. He was telling me of the problems the band had and is still having, of the inability to play a normal concert because of constant police interventions and denger of being arrested each time. It seemed that the musicians will never leave the Island or get out of the underground...
Yet it happened.
In July the most anti-regime punk rock band in Cuba is coming to Poland to play the concert at the Jarocin Festival. I didn't expect this moment to come. So when I saw the news on Ciro's facebook I had difficulty with believing. But it's true. I have real goose bumps. I am happy as a kid. And well... In July I am going to Jarocin!!!
